Let’s face it . . . making the decision to send your student-athlete to a private program for their 8th-grade year or 8th-grade reclass year is big. And, as big as it is for you as a parent, in your son or daughter’s world, leaving their friends and classmates behind is an even bigger decision.
That said, you want to be sure the year spent will be a great experience. Not only in the growth of mind and sports-performance skills but also in life lessons and enjoyment.

The PAST
The Parisi Speed School has over 30 years of experience training young athletes. As a matter of fact, from our 100+ locations across the country, we have trained more than 1 million athletes. Plus, our founder, Bill Parisi, is regarded as one of the founders and leading experts in youth sports performance. Parisi has produced over 135 draft pics and Olympians throughout its history. There is no other sports performance organization or individual who can match our success.
The PEOPLE
There is a lot to say here, but we want to start with our student-athletes. Year after year, we recruit great student-athletes. At Parisi Academy, just being a great athlete does not put one in our “great” category. Our student body is expected to take responsibility for their actions, give 110% to both the academic and sports-performance programming, be kind and inclusive, and internalize the life lessons and experiences offered. As a result, we can confidently say that your student-athlete will find no better group of peers to be around than at Parisi Academy.
The other group of people which needs mentioning is our staff. There is not a single Parisi Academy teacher, coach, administrator, or even admin that is not 100% committed to making each student-athlete’s year with us the best of their school experience. The PLAN
After running a successful business for 30+ years, Bill Parisi knows something about business, and The Parisi Academy is no exception. Once he got his feet wet, he realized that The Parisi Academy needed a plan for the type of success he alone envisioned. So, he did the same thing he did to make Parisi Training Systems successful… he assembled the best and the brightest in their fields, and these PhD’s and top educators went to work. The result is:
- a solid, planned-out curriculum for every subject,
- core classes that exceed New Jersey education standards,
- classes that address the mental and personal side of a well-rounded student-athlete,
- an environment that makes learning enjoyable but challenging
- training designed to improve the sports-performance skills of even the best athletes
- experiences that make learning and training fun
He then assembled educators who have the love of teaching, reduced core classes to a ratio of 1 teacher to a maximum of 12 student-athletes, and located The Parisi Academy in the Parisi Speed School flagship training facility in Fair Lawn, NJ. The result is our student-athletes have access to the best education, experience, and training available.
The Program
The Parisi Academy boasts five teachers and three primary coaches, all of who are experts in their chosen fields. Our teachers teach from a written, pre-prescribed curriculum that details the various blocks of study, including learning objectives. The same is true for training. Our coaches design training plans based on the performance progression of our student-athletes as a whole and as individuals. The end result is student-athletes are challenged in the classroom and on the turf on a daily basis.

Our program is well-thought-out and administered with precision. It is important for us that prospective parents and student-athletes are able to view our entire program and have it explained down to the minor details if they wish before joining us.
Our advice before joining The Parisi Academy, or any other for that matter, is to make sure you know the nuances. As we’ve said, this is a big decision for both parents and the student-athlete. It is a decision you want to get right the first time!
